Watchseries; I get that these days series have to be either controversial, political or "squid game" brutal to differentiate themselves but I think we need more of these easy watch good feeling series right now. Yes it's not realistic, yes could be better but it's enjoyable, characters are likeable and the visual are fun, so yes let's not be overly critical about it and compare it to other series out there who are trying to push the boundaries. So far so good!

Acapulco watchseries. This show for its first two episodes were pretty good, I thought that the second episode was better. I also love how they can use both spanish and english to satisfy there audiences. Don't mind the negative reviews, they are saying it's not good because they probably never actually watched it!!
Just bad. From the initial dialogue with the kid's overacting to the Chad cliche.
Just not good.
I honestly don't understand the bad reviews. I get if you don't find the resort pool-boy setting interesting, but 1 star?? It feels like some of these people just don't like Apple focusing on a Mexican family. It's not even all Spanish.
Anyway, the show is pretty simple, with an older version of the main character narrating the story to his grandson, which is a bit cliched, but the story has heart and I found myself laughing a few times.
Certainly the show is not for everyone and not everyone will appreciate it's sweet tone. I am a Spanish speaker so the show is easier for me to enjoy. It took me away to another place and time and I am thoroughly on board. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
First with Ted Lasso and now with this, Apple is laying down it's mark as the producer of bland, corporate dross pushing a cutesy pie world vision in which "nice" American values always win out. It's reminiscent of the old Disney, with slightly more nuanced racism, and about as interesting. You can see the fingers of Apple's corporate overlords, nixing anything that might cause offence or amusement, or raise ugly topics like slavery, pollution, suffering... In Appleland, we all live in a glorious, warm hug, where naked consumption has no consequences and everybody is happy, even people facing ethnic cleansing or forced labour making Apple products... The show is dull, unfunny, the lead actor cannot act, and the whole production stinks of repressed fascism and American exceptionalism from possibly the worst company on the planet.
