Watchseries; I was a bit disappointed by this show. I didn't find the cast all that engaging and I expected a few more laughs than it provided. Shame as I love Sharon Horgan so was looking forward to this. She usually does such sharp witted humour that's relatable (Motherland, Catastrophe, Divorce.) The storyline was a bit silly and far fetched. A cliche villain of a controlling husband. It was a bit contrived and not all that genuine or believable. Which would be fine but then in that case it would need to be funny so the audience can overlook the nuances. But I didn't laugh much. I just needed a bit more and ended up discontinuing.

Bad Sisters watchseries. Loving this show so much after two episodes. Some of the finest acting seen on screen, and Sharron Horgan strikes again. Her work is astounding.

I was almost the first review. Lol. I'll say I love Sharon Hogan. But not so much in this thus far. It seems ok. But the last few Apple series left much to be desired oh and I love the Gleesons acting is in their genes... We'll see how this goes..
Normally I wouldn't watch a show like this, but because I'm a huge claes bang fan AKA netflix's Dracula!. I've decided to watch it. Every scene claes bang is in is just masterpiece. He's just the perfect Ass**** villain you would want in a show. Beyond mean but the level of his acting is off the charts. Also if you have a decent 4K TV. The way this show is shot is absolutely stunning. Not all 4k are the same but this video quality will blow your mind. Also it is shot in beautiful Ireland so get ready for some amazing shots. The entire cast does an outstanding job of acting. The chemistry between the sisters is really believable and awesome. Again though, if you have never seen claes bang's acting. You are trully in for a great villain treat. Dark comedy at its best!
Although only two episodes in, I can already tell this is like so many streamed shows that are stretched out to a full series at their own expense. The elements are here but it's very slow going and not quite clever, stylish or funny enough to sparkle. It may pick up but if not, it's just not compelling enough to see to the end.
I loved the original series (It was Belgian/flemish0! I find the Irish (apple +) situation works quite well too. ;Five angry sisters with major doubts about their sister's dead husband - They should really acknowledge the original series though.
