Watchseries; 1st episode with Andrew only emphasized that men with control issues, narcissistic tendancies and those who cry as they apologize that it won't happen again, until it happens again and again. Those issues aren't just Rich or poor issues, they are psychiatric ones. I hope Kelly doesn't get mired down in his infantile insecurities.

Bling Empire watchseries. Everyone needs to watch the entire series before writing a review. Please do not write a review if you've only seen the trailer. I see a lot of comments that are based out of ignorance. After all, my thoughts after watching all eight episodes is different than how it was initially.
I actually cringed at the idea of watching this at first, especially since it was trying to monopolize on the success of Crazy Rich Asians.
I'm Asian and when I was heard about it, I was shaking my head. A couple friends (white and Asian) messaged me about it, so I decided to check out the trailer, and I thought it was tacky. The trailer is just a bunch of clips with no context edited together. No wonder it looked awkward and cringey.
Finally, I decided to give the show a chance and thought it got better after the first episode. The show is surprisingly entertaining, especially the diversity aspect in casting various different Asian ethnic backgrounds and having them intermingle. Non-Asians don't realize that most Asians don't speak the same language (Chinese/Singaporean/Taiwanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, etc), so it was refreshing to see how the show highlights differences.
My favorite is (probably) Christine because of her Queen B persona. Plus, she is very articulate and well-spoken. I can't imagine a Beverly Hills-based show without a character like Christine! People love to hate these characters, but they are so intriguing to watch. Love her!
My other favorite is Kim Lee; she started getting more scene time as the series progressed. She's really fun to watch!
I didn't like Kane at first. I thought he was very annoying, but he grew on me overtime because you do learn a lot about Asian culture through him, and he says a lot of HILARIOUS things! I also really enjoyed Kevin and Anna. Andrew was also fun to watch despite his anger issues.
It's just a show ya'll. Enjoy it and stop getting offended by everything!

I haven't watched it yet, just watch the trailer and bang!! seriously, guys, do a bit of research before spilling..
First, that guy maybe the 24th generation of the dynasty , I am assuming based on his surname Chiu, but not all Chiu's descendants are of royal blood. Second, the Song dynasty was destroyed/took over by Genghis Khan, the leader of the Yuen (Yuan) Dynasty in 1279 (or better known by western as Mongol Dynasty). There will be no such thing as "Dr. Chiu's father could be an emperor, Dr. Chiu is next in line and Baby G as a prince". This is not rocket science, do some research and if they are truly Song's descendants, they should be ashamed they didn't even know their ancestors' humiliation and history.
Next to the Yuen's dynasty is the Ming Dynasty, and the next is the Great Qing dynasty....so many dynasties come and go, so even if we still have dynasty and emperor now, her husband couldn't be the emperor as they are the descendants of a defeated/lost dynasty.
I know this is a reality show of flashing wealth, but at the very least get the basic info right.

With so much reality trash tv, it's hard to find one that gets you hooked on the first episode and that's exactly what Bling Empire did. I originally clicked on it out of curiosity, not knowing what to expect, but before I knew it, I binged the entire first season in one sitting. I can't figure out if it's really that good or really that bad, but either way I admit I want more!

Watched 2 episodes. Enough is enough.
I just wasted part of my life watching this trash.
Money can't buy authenticity or integrity.
Good luck with your bling bull+++t!
