Watchseries; As a great fan of the books from Isaac Asimov is was looking forward to this series.
But for it being based up on the books of Isaac Asimov it probably means the manuscript was probably by accident put on top of one of his books by accident for a second.
This peace of woke trash has nothing to do with his foundation book series.

Foundation watchseries. I love Asimov´s Foundation and Robots series and I have watched only the firt two episodes of the show released for premiere.
Good, atonishing visuals. Good CGI. Good cast in the sense of being competent actors and actress.
But.
Too much change from the novels. They took the frame, kind of, and inserted in it a lot of actual woke agenda not related with the spirit of the stories.
So.
This might be a good show per se (too early to say), but it is clear just now that is NOT a good Foundation series show.
Good visuals and effects but sadly pulled down by the main in my opinion. If you want to add "diversity", add roles, don't race,- and genderswap characters from the source material. And if you absolutely have to to get funding in current year +6, at least cast good actors that can act and are pleasing to look at.
Based on the trailers, which were suspect at least, and the fact that Apple did this, I did not have high hopes. However, it's worse than I could have ever imagined.
The first episode felt like a guy got high, and told the story of Foundation to his roommate in five sentences, who made a movie out of it the next morning, including 2 ideas out of the 5 he vaguely remembered. (He did not get the gender of the main characters right, but what do you expect after that much weed...) It was all over the place, but at least resembling the original.
But the second episode....
What were they even thinking??
Even if you are not familiar with the original story, you will realize this is just a mess. And I would not mind that - there are many bad series out there, this is just another one - but why drag Asimov's name into it?
This is not "based on", and not even "inspired by" the books - it's defecating on them. One of the greatest sci-fi novels of all time, in the hands of those who just wanted to use the name to bring in some viewers. What a shame!
Probably the least engaging series I have seen in a long time. And revealing in episode two who Demerzel is? Oh come on!!! Have you even read the books??

I read the Asimov books many years ago , and still have them. Fantastic books and premise.
This bears very little resemblance to those books.
I'd imagine Isaac is turning in his grave! His name should not be attached to this at all.
For people who never heard of Asimov and his writing this is probably okay.
I am so disappointed.
Its beautiful and have good actors, but its has awful story telling and direction. By the first episode you are so utterly indifferent to what happens to the characters that it is unbearable to watch anymore even though it is very beautiful.
How does someone so bad at directing get to use this much money?
How can anyone have watched this on the "cutting table" and not decided to reshoot it all?
It is so obviously poor story telling, that it hurts to know someone did not stop wasting money in time. What where they thinking?
