Watchseries; Now I know why I don't miss Sophia Bush on Chicago PD. I mean, Is it just me or are television shows that have some minute amount of a story without reaching into absurdity during these Covid television times just not out there when we need them the most? Sorry Sophia Bush, your even worse in this show. Cmon CBS, you can do better!

Good Sam watchseries. ...supporting cast chemistry, nor mysterious medical conditions. I wanted to finish the pilot, but lost interest at the implausibility of the events depicted therein. I'll give episode 2 a try....
That said, I realize the pilot sets up the storyline- but they need to move quickly on to actually become a medical drama not a family of doctors drama.
Halfway through the show and still no doctoring....all we've seen is a female mamby-pamby doctor and ego driven Dad who is blinded by his own self-importance.
Lots of dialogue, emotion, naivety, blah, blah!
While i was never a huge Sophia Bush fan, but i did want her to have success with this show.
The show as a whole seems a repeat of all hospital shows. Romance among colleagues, minimal doctoring as the "side-show" of interpersonal relationships continue. Poor acting on top of it all... a mother who has no hospital responsibilities apart from her daughter.... Maybe this first episode is supposed to set the stage...but it didn't capture my interest.
The premise seemed interesting, and with Sophia Bush and Jason Issacs at the helm, I thought I'd give it a try. The pace was super slow, the story was as compelling as a hallmark card, and Bush was just not convincing as an ambitious, smart chief of surgery. I don't think I'll continue watching this one.
I loved Sophia Bush in Chicago PD and was sad when she left that show, so I watched this hopefully. But the whole thing is just so contrived. Omg it's hard to actually articulate my disappointment at how contrived and artificial the whole thing is. Although I wnanted to watch it for Sophia I couldn't even finish the first ep.
Have you ever watched a show that made you cringe because it was so bad? This is that show. If it makes it through an entire season without getting cancelled I'll be shocked.
