Watchseries; I was looking forward to watching this series. Set in Dublin, Irish cast, similarities to Love Hate, brilliant! Or so I thought! It's far from brilliant, but still watchable. It definitely has potential, but lacks the suspense and drama I was expecting. I have to say, whoever wrote the music or edited the music for each scene really didn't do there job properly! Music makes the scene and it really is awful! The programme could have been so much better, if the music was better! The acting is good, the storyline somewhat believable, not a lot going on in some episodes, but still worth using an hour of your day to watch.

Kin watchseries. Looks like the same old, same old. Having Aiden Gillan in both, makes the link.
Didn't like the camera work either. While I appreciate it was made during the pandemic, the continuous moving camera for close up was irritating.. Maybe that's because I'm old stock however, a few shots where the camera stayed in one spot, would have made viewing easier on the eye. Also, reflective glare from all that glass is inexcusable.
MAy make it to episode 2 but, somehow I don't think I'll get there, which is a pity. Usually RTE does good drama, this one could be a dud, just like Smother.
Methodical and gritty. This series has great potential.
Just that, engaging to the emotionally stunted, undeveloped crowd. Watched the first two episodes intently. It was senseless.
But at least lads are lads and lassies are lassies. I guess we should at least say thanks for that. On this side of the pond.
Will give it a shot. There is potential. Might build up to something...
Organized crime story set in Ireland.
The main plot and cast is ok. But PC sub plots and themes destroy the suspension of disbelief - You can't watch this show and not be reminded of 'real world' culture debates - beyond annoying.
This is the story about the most carefully diverse, socially conscious mobsters in Ireland - complete with... the obligatory and clichéd gay character with back alley rendezvous.
'The Sopranos' is a much better choice in this genre. 'The Sopranos' managed to explore issues in realistic, creative ways and didn't make casting choices like it used the racial quotas from the Harvard University admissions board.
