Watchseries; I'm not sure why there's some really negative reviews of this show, it has original ideas, a decent script, solid actors, and it's well produced.

Although not super high budget the special effects are absolutely good enough to not be distracting - importantly they're a bit different from the norm as well.

It has a similar production vibe to Brave New World crossed with the expanse.

The only thing (and I mean only!) that annoyed me about the first episode was Amara Kara's fake American accent, I'm not American but it just sounded weird, they should have kept her as British.

Really interesting show, will be good to see where it goes.

Moonhaven watchseries. Really into sci-fi, and this fits the bill. Acting is good, the story so far feels great, and it manages to properly immerse you in this strange other world. I'm eager for more of this show, since I've only seen 2 episodes to date.

I'm going to try to be generous here, because I want to support new streamers trying new and different content, especially sci fi.

The show had an interesting concept, but CGI and sets were at times technically below what was needed. Think 90s sci fi shows. The 90s was a great Era for sci fi series, so that's not a bad thing, but the pacing felt a bit slow.

The characters were not bad either, most of the acting was quite good. The show has some reveals and mystery, but not enough to grab me early on. The only thing worth staying on for Is the developing relationship between the two main characters, Bella sway and Paul Sarno which is well done.

And the wokeness, I'm only one episode in, but I didn't see it. I'm pretty aware of even the subtle things they push, but besides the leadership being obviously all women (which I don't mind ) and some allusions to earth as the "mother" and open relationships, it's not that bad, certainly no Netflix *shivers*.

First, I would like to live on set of this show. So serene and green. Eufonic. The singing in the pilot is good. Its simple and the voice is soothing.

Lets see what the ,,lunatic,, humans are up to. The plot is ok and. I finf the production and the script quite original.

It deserves more apreciation since it is talent involved in the making of the show. People are bitter about everything today so they downvote like there s no tomorrow.

An interesting phenomenon on IMDB is how some serials get a way lower rating for the whole serial than for the individual episodes, and that this seems to happen when the serial is new. I guess if someone really hates it, they'll give up after one episode, and just rate the serial. Thus early whole serial ratings are low. This implies that we shouldn't take an early rating of the whole serial too seriously. Maybe to look more at the episode ratings, especially as the serial moves along. It's fair enough that it doesn't suit the tastes of those people who give up and rate it quickly. But maybe for others who find more in it and stick with it, it might have more to offer, so it's worth finding out for yourself.

That said, I can see reasons to feel dubious about this show; the science of this isolated spot on the moon seems questionable, but then we're talking about some seriously advanced A. I. that would be likely to move way beyond our scientific understanding quite rapidly, so a suspension of that doubt seems reasonable; initially at least, while no good or bad explanation of it all has been given. But, yeah, that's some seriously powerful A. I. in charge of inconceivably advanced technology if it can create, contain, maintain and control such things in that isolated spot as earth-like atmosphere, gravity, and day and night cycles, let alone all the life that flourishes within that zone.

Then, I'd imagine, the second, or maybe even first, big irritant for people would be this odd kind of hippy society on this moon settlement. It's kind of sickeningly quaint and full of archaic speech or modern repurposing of that speech, with a bunch of 'positive thinking' sounding concepts with their similarly sickeningly sweet connotations, a bunch of 'uncool' singing and dancing, 'hippy names' for your children, etc., etc. My first thought was, 'if anyone needs punk rock, it's these people'.

But there's potentially something in this, depending where it goes. While it's hard for us to believe that an advanced A. I. doing the job it was assigned properly could come up with this sickly sweet way of life as a way to fix humanity and as something in which to successfully embed future progress, it at least raises the question of how true this is, or of why we might so much resist the idea. Maybe our resistance, the earther discomfort with it, is the real problem, or part of it at least, and there might be a reason that the A. I. came up with this, and exploring that might be interesting. The earthers here definitely seem as sceptical as I think we probably are. Maybe some of these 'hippy ways' have some meaning and use, beyond our embarrassment at their perceived cheesiness, or maybe they don't, or will end up destructive even (a 'Brave New World' kind of message would be disappointingly simplistic and predictable), or maybe the answer is somewhere between. Maybe there are positive forces in there, maybe negative ones, and maybe this serial can find some balance in there among all that that actually resonates with our human reality and therefore will be interesting. It remains to be seen how it turns out. It provides a potential to explore what really coheres a culture successfully, and what might be behind discord and cynicism in any culture by looking at what is really behind the different ways of seeing and being that are contrasted with each other here, and in how they might work together, or clash with each other, and why.<

I do understand that there is massive competition with all of streaming services and each of them wanna have more and wider range than others but is there any quality control for projects? Are they giving a green light to any production, shows now? What a shame! It will ruin the industry itself and seems like we won't be having high quality content soon until people stop watching shows like this.
