Jackie Howard's life is disrupted by a freak accident, she is ripped from her home and has to start over on a ranch in Colorado, with her guardian and a family of 12 boys.
Watchseries; The people who rated this a 8, 9 or 10 are for sure part of the crew or something. There is noooo way that anyone would actually think this is a good show. The acting is super bad, too many awkward scenes. The story is nothing new and nothing exciting is going on. Don't waste your time on this. Totally not worth it!
I feel bad for the cast tho, they might have some potential if the story was better.
I have no time to spoil anything of the story, so read the other comments if you need that. Will also add that the "cute guys" are for sure not that cute. I was really optimistic in the beginning, but got bored very quickly.
Good luck to yall!

My Life with the Walter Boys watchseries. I watched mostly because of Sarah Rafferty. Sadly even she can't save the show. The acting is really poor. All the boys look awkward. Their gesture, facial expression seem forced.
The dad only cares about his trees. The 4 younger kids don't add anything to the show.
Nathan is trying way too hard with his love interest.
The love triangle is a second "the summer I turned pretty".
Jackie doesn't have chemistry with any of them. She moved on from the lost of her family really fast.
Between the mean girl Erin and the playboy Cole. This show is mostly just a bunch of stereotypes about American high school. No need for a second season with this acting and scenario.

I can't tell if the script is shocking or if the acting is the problem. The competing storyline's don't work cohesively and feel highly forced. I haven't read the books but I've been told that the books deliver significantly better than the tv show adaptation.
As mentioned in my review title, it has been incredibly painful to watch, which is a shame because Sarah Rafferty and Noah Lalode are actually great actors and then everyone else are absolutely horrible. This quality of "acting" gives me hope that one day even I could be the star of a crappy Netflix tv show or movie.
Goodluck to anyone who finishes the show.

I agree with other reviewers that the casting was a little off - specifically with Cole's character. It made things awkward in my opinion.
The entire chemistry they try to create doesn't work and his character and ultimately Jackie's just become very self serving.
I feel like the guy playing Alex could have been a promising lead if he'd been given half the chance! His and Jackie's chemistry was a lot more believable plus they looked more age appropriate together. It all just went very south very quickly after about episode 5.
Fine to have on in the background but not a winner and drags in for far too long with an abrupt and rushed ending.

I started watching this without expecting too much, but I just can't believe how full of cliches the show is.
First of all Jackie Howard doesn't behave like a girl who have lost her whole family and the most of the Walter boys are just plain mean to her.
I don't care how immature you are, but Cole who I believe is around 17-18yrs old making a bet, which ruins Jackies hair and she isn't more angry?
And she is attracted bad boy Cole, who sleeps around with almost all the girls - when he is still around 18yrs old.
And further more they get an actor to play the role, who are 25yrs old - he doesn't look anywhere near a student in high school. But So few of the actors in this show does.
And don't get me started with skylar, who ask one of the walter boys to play guitar - while still being topless.
The whole show is just too much and is one of these crap growing up shows, where the they try to focus on teen problems, but it looks more like an adults idea of which problems teens have.
I can't imagine even teens think this show is with watching.
I'm not finished watching it, but it's based on a book, so if it's meant for Jackie Howard to end up with Cole - they do a very bad job of making it realistic.

After reading the book, I was waiting to see the series. Nikki Rodriguez as Jackie is probably an okay choice, but not with Noah. He is supposed to be 17/18, not 25. He looks way too old to be in high school and Nikki looks 16, I don't think they have chemistry at all. She doesn't have any sparks with Alex either.
Will is supposed to be I think 21. Here he looks like 30, and his fiance looks old to be 21 too.
Okay, after finishing the whole thing, most of the actors were a miscast, they just don't go well with each other. I kept thinking "was she a diversity cast, was he a diversity cast?" Actors make or break a story and it feels like with different people this series would/could have been more enjoyable and believable.
