Watchseries; There was me thinking Trigger Point was awful, this barely makes it to the same level of dross. If you like your 'drama' obvious to the point of insulting and your acting wooden then you will love this. The cast was abysmal and the plot was basic. To call this a psychological drama is flipping ridiculous. Would give it 0/10 but you have to pick 1/10 as a minimum. Avoid.

Our House watchseries. This mini series is somewhere between a 6/10 and a 7. So I gave it a 7. Some of it really seemed to lack depth in places and lag. The two leads had no chemistry at all together but separate played their parts well. Predictable in places too. But over all a good watch even if at times it was rushed. The criminal couple were great.
Getting a bit fed up that ITV keep commissioning really weak drama. Good cast but story not plausible from start to finish, then the ending left me cursing I'd given another 4 hrs to ITV. Can someone please orientate to US drama and set that as the benchmark.
Episode 1 was good laying out the story frame. Found it intriguing - episode 2 did not add enough, by three it had nothing. Original idea wasted. The whole point of UK drama having fewer episodes than US drama is that the content is rich and concentrated - now we have short and dilute - not a good bargain.
Martin Compson and Tuppence Middleton with their two sons in a lovely early Edwardian house would have made a good 2 point 2 children comedy couple. Sadly, as a dramatic pair, they don't cut the mustard.
When 'something strange was happening in the shed', it wasn't Freddy Krueger or Doctor Who making an unforeseen landing, rather it was the husband bonking a woman - apparently from the same middle class circles they mix in.
My first doubt was how could they afford a house like that, seemingly in London? Neither seemed high-flyers, career-wise.
A second doubt arose when the wife discovered the children missing and the house sold, but doesn't immediately contact the police or at least, her solicitor.
The third doubt was the strange arrangement agreed whereby they share the house at different times, while separated; many separating couples share the family home and grin and bear it.
Doubtless it may improve.
Given such recent extraordinary goings-on with Covid, global warming, war in Europe, gas prices going through the roof, party-gate and much speculation about the future of the human race, I'm not sure Our House is such a good home for drama at the moment.
This is possibly the worst thing I've seen on tv without giving up half way. There are absolutely no redeeming features to this. The plot is ludicrous, the script might have been written by teenagers and (perhaps because of this) the acting from all concerned is atrocious. Tuppence, Martin & Rupert, people I've loved in other things, were embarrassingly bad. How this ever got made is the real mystery here.
