Peacemaker watchseries. I've looked everywhere and I just can't find him. I just cannot. I've looked in the trees, I've looked near the bees... I've looked near and far! Where the hell is he?!?!?!
It's a trademark Gunn show. While to my surprise, Cena was great in it, as well as his father, the rest of the characters ... meh. Wasn't impressed much to be honest.
It's a darker Marvel parody in a DC skin, which feels a bit unnatural. I'll keep on watching it but wouldn't expect it to be the next big thing.
Apparently this is a show about a half-witted wimp.
And each episode starts with a dancing set piece.
I have no idea why either choice was made.
And trying to make it adult was done poorly. It sort of feels like it's trying a bit too hard to be edgy and sweary.
It's like it was written by a young teenager who knows all the swear words and bodily functions, but not how to use them properly or in a properly entertaining manner.
Overall, after 3 released episodes, it's a solid 'meh'.
There are some good jokes, but not that many. The nudity is a nice touch.
DC isn't quite at the level of comedy that Marvel is at, but it's still ok to watch.
This is a one season show.
Wow! I was Not expecting This! John Cena just blew me away with his likeability and just some of the funniest comedy I have seen since I can remember in such a show..The only other with such irreverant, side splitting ,raunchy laughs is The Boys.
His character was fun in the movie role ,but man, give this guy his own show and he just hits a home run!
Im only 1 episode in but I love it!
