Watchseries; This has to be the best new show I've seen in ages. The writing is amazing, the characters have depth, from bottom to top. The actors are all perfect for their roles.
This is easily Jason Segal's best work and he's made for this role.
Jessica Williams breathes so much life into the scenes and is hilarious!
Harrison Ford has reached a new height here and I love this version of him. So sarcastic, hilarious and genuine!
The supporting characters really shine. The casting is just... astoundingly good. I mean, even the peripheral characters have something memorable about them. The creators of this show are brilliant, and I want MOAR! Lol, but seriously, just watch it.

Shrinking watchseries. With the recent times of having thrillers, comedy, romance, fantasy genre on TV, Shrinking is like a change that needed. The comedy ain't forced. You laugh, you feel, with subtle references of mental health and how to handle it. It feels like everyone should watch it. A psychiatrist going through mental health issues. It's a very refreshing concept with Jason Segel, Harrison Ford and all casts killing it with their natural acting. You really connect with all the characters. And watching Harrison Ford in something new, it's actually very impressive to see his range of acting. The story is not over the top. There is no twist and turns. It's a story of bunch of people and their life. Highly recommended.

I was actually shocked by all the boo hooing going on here. My husband and I are really enjoying each episode. People complaining about jokes falling flat are probably not watching the same show. I'm actually very impressed by the entire cast, very rarely do you get so many actors that can really feed off each other and make one five minute scene feel like two minutes. For example, the scene where Sean is looking through the trash. There's so much chunk on TV and not much is worth the time to invest but Shrinking is actually a good one to watch and I would be shocked if you truly were disappointed.

I waited a little bit to write anything about this show even though I thought it was solid entertainment from the get go. I'm a Ted Lasso fan and I didn't think it quite measured up after the first couple of episodes, so I decided to wait and see a few more before deciding how I felt. Well now I'm, what, 7 or 8 episodes in and I'm fully into all elements of this gem and I 100% love it. Everything about it now is on par with TL and I couldn't be happier. Every episode seemed to get better and better as the characters and story developed. I don't think I have laughed out loud this much watching a series....well, since Ted Lasso.

Well so far we have 6 episodes and man did the series get worse
idk people seem to like the new direction into which the series is heading but to me it's just boring
if you watch the first couple of episodes the series seems to be heading into the goofy comedy direction simple tried and tested not great but neither horrible if done right
but quickly it starts feeling like the series changed it's target demograpic
more so catering to 'middle age woman then whole family teenage goofiness'
there's some character development but everything feels as generic as it gets
and most importantly
TYHERE'S NO SHRINKING
what we've seen in the first couple of episodes without spoiling it represented the serie's synopsis pretty well
but now... well what's going on
the story dosen't focus on anything not the therapist not the patients not anything really
arguably the direction was shifting away from the clinic into the dr's private life but even here there's not much going on
it's just boring.

Two episodes out currently and this show exhibits a lot of promise, the chemistry between characters is infectious and even oddly so at times... its heartwarming in ways that most shows aren't, reminding solely of the show Community for these elements. I'm not sure if this accurately displays a therapist's way of coping with issues but it sure does allow room for Jason Segel to put his own spin on it. Harrison Ford plays Dr Rhodes, Jason's boss and mentor of sorts.. I wasn't sure how his character was going to work in this show but the antisocial likeness of Rhodes sure does play into a persona that Ford meets quite well when thinking about the more apprehensive elements of his character Han Solo in Star Wars, it just fits like a glove in this show. Somehow all too relatable, Sean (Luke Tennie) plays somewhat of a son figure to Jimmy (Segel) while he deals with familial issues of his own with his daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell)... What I see here feels so vivid and the possibilities maybe (?) endless as I see Jimmy navigate these things. Btw, the intro theme to this show is so good, I didnt even skip it when watching the 2nd episode... And the music in this show is so good. Overall this is turning out to be a wonderful show and I hope it only keeps getting better from here.
