When a high school reunion's afterparty ends in a death, everyone is a suspect. A detective grills the former classmates one by one, uncovering potential motives as each tells their version of the story culminating in the shocking truth.
Watchseries; Whoa. I thought this was a movie. How can it be a series? Two episodes in and I'm already exhausted. It's mind boggling that Apple is worth a trillion dollars yet they can't manage to produce one decent show or film. The only Apple show that I truly enjoyed was Physical (and I think I'm the only person who did).
Also, it's telling that AppleTV's YouTube channel has disabled the comment section for this show. #censorship.

The Afterparty watchseries. A bunch of D listers Come together to prove that they are D listers for a reason. They only have one character in them and the same 6th grade sense of humour they had all their lives.
Not terrible. Episode one was okay. Smart idea. Terribly executed. Basically the same old stupid Americans do stupid things and we're supposed to laugh at them because we're feeling superior to their idiocy. If you have a sense of humour, pass this one.

I forced myself to sit through two episodes before finally turning this off. Not only did I not laugh even once, but everything about this show is just trying waaay too hard. The result was a show that's not just unfunny, but actively annoying.

Not very good. Everyone is a tired cartoon and the script flops around like a goldfish that has jumped out of its tank, and landed on concrete. Ep1 - Haddish is the bad kind of laughable as a detective, and none of her dialogue makes any sense. All the dialogue made me wonder if this whole show was improvised.
How do things like this get greenlit?

The 4 stars are for Dave Franco. Tiffany Haddish plays Tiffany Haddish. The gimmick of each episode switching genre was a good idea. Unfortunately, it was not funny or entertaining.

This show is super fun to watch, likeable characters, detective lady is so cool y'all, no laughter track and clever jokes. Yasper (Ben) is my favourite character (for now). Ben schwartz was super awesome in Parks and Recreation too. I think Walt could be the killer. Xavier is kinda like Justin Beiber. Can't wait for the 4th episode!
