The whole appeal of Rosanne and the Conners was it's edgy approach to sensitive topics. Yet again the political correctness of Hollywood has ruined a great program.
The Conners watchseries. I've watched all five eps to date. I just can't watch any more. It's not funnny. Poorly written and lackluster. It's such a shame. Roseanne was a staple of my youth. Without her this show is terrible.
Why is it that after every sentence the cast says on the show, they have to do an audience laugh. I think they need better writers. Roseann made the show funny. When it was Roseanne it was worth watching now it's just sad. I guess I'll be watching re-runs if I want to watch this show ever again.
I'm not understanding how this show is doing the masks - well, I am and that's that they're doing it wrong. The characters wear their masks opposite of how you should: they wear them outside then take them off to come inside, the pull them down to speak to someone and then up again when they're not speaking, they wear them around their chins, etc. Why bother doing it at all if you're going to be so backwards about it? Then there's the political parts, the preaching about what's right and wrong, this is supposed to be a comedy, not a documentary on everything that's wrong with the world.
Is this show a joke? It seems so! The acting and parody to today's life is! Get real! The Rosanne show use to be great because real people could relate to it and it made us laugh! This crap just makes me cringe!! Stop Already!! You're all embarrassing yourselves!!
It's not the same without Roseanne. I also dont like how they picked and chose what to keep and what not to keep from the original show.
