Watchseries; Vicki is a bit dramatic, overall a good enjoyable show, after two episodes storyline is firming up, I am enjoying it, refreshing to watch a program that is different from all the other crap around.

Great cast list, that's it, ridiculously inept unprofessional bomb squad who randomly switch things on, sweat and take unbelievable risks for no reason. Rubbish.

Yes, Islamists are all salt-of-the Earth types who would never hurt a fly. At one point, the head woke bomb (head now, her colleague got blown up) tech utters the incomprehensibly stupid, "Islamists don't blow-up mosques." All you have to do is Google "mosque bombings" to SEE how ridiculous that statement is. Maybe this is a typical TV "alternate liberal universe" and the only bombers in the world are right-wingers bent on taking the West back to the 1950's? In any case, apart from that glaring idiocy, the show isn't very "deep" so don't expect much.

As a huge fan of Line of Duty, I was really looking forward to this one. Unfortunately, the entire show consists of dull interoffice politics, unnecessary personal "drama," and bomb-related scenes that are completely lacking in any kind of tension. Such a letdown.

Based on the first episode, the first 'tense' bit revolved around her from Line of Duty having fingers too sweaty to hold onto a light switch (I kid you not)
It doesn't improve up to the finale and the obligatory (in anything remotely linked to Jed Mercurio) 'shock' death.
It's dreadfully acted, but then there's nothing in the script for the actors to go off.
I won't be back for any future editions.

New six-part ITV drama starring Vicky McClure and Adrian Lester as bomb disposal experts dealing with a fictional terrorist campaign in London.
The opening was uneven, there didn't seem to be any chemistry between the principal actors many of whom who were poorly cast. The drama was curiously undercooked for what's meant to be an action thriller. Factually it seemed to be full of improbabilities and school boy errors, like the infamous light switch moment...
The domestic storyline strands were all a bit lame. So far a bit meh, it didn't grab me, the first episode ended strongly but I won't be back. Watch 'The Responder' instead, its great.
