Watchseries; After watching Sarah Wayne Callies in just about everything she has ever appeared in it was only natural to give this a try. Loved Milo in this is us.
It's a family show with a lot of fun. Less guns more brains and subtle messages of stealing from the tax avoiding rich to those who are not.
Drama, romance, tension & comedy all rolled into every episode.
Intrigued to learn more about daphne & Birdies back stories. As well as see more from Ollie, Birdies deaf daughter for whom the whole cast have learned ASL.
Incredible show, Exceptional cast.
If you liked Prison Break or This is Us you'll definitely enjoy this!

The Company You Keep watchseries. Okay, then again, I shouldn't be surprised, because people will watch anything, especially if there's sex. I bet this show will be popular with men. It gives off 1960s James Bond vibes. The premise is different, but the theme is basically the same: a woman rushing to get into the sack with a man simply because he's good-looking. Plus she excuses him no matter what he does. I'd like to think we're living in a much different society compared to when the earliest Bond films were made, but it seems like people are going backwards.
My expectations were low when I saw the previews. But on the other hand, all I saw was a pretty hot guy (I didn't know who Milo Ventimiglia was at the time), and I will admit, the love scenes did look quite steamy. I'm 30, but the 12-year-old in me had a burning and persistent curiosity. I missed the first episode, on purpose. I knew it was nothing else but smut, so I made myself not watch the pilot. The second episode rolls around, and I just couldn't resist. I try not to watch TV shows and films that go against my principles, so I am somewhat disappointed in myself (and I say somewhat because I've done worse things). I'm not a proponent of premarital sex. If that's what people wish to do, fine by me. It's their business. However, when it's the main focus of a story, and it's glorified - I find that to be kind of reprehensible. Sex with a person who you barely know carries the risk of problems, not just emotional, but also medical as well (STDs, for example). I get so tired of Hollywood trying to make it seem like one-night stands pose zero consequences. Unless it's trying to make some kind of point, sex, even more so between unmarried characters, adds nothing of value to the plotline.
Catherine Haena Kim plays Emma Hill, a CIA officer, and Charlie Nicoletti, played by Milo Ventimiglia, is a con artist. In fact, his family members are also con artists, and he works with them. Emma is undercover the night she meets him. The passion they feel for each other is uncontrollable, so they end up sleeping together. It doesn't make sense. She's too much of a sucker to have the job that she does. I mean come on, as the audience, are we supposed to believe that a) she has an inability to control her sexual urges for a man who she knows is a criminal, or she has an inkling he might be a criminal, and b) she's not intelligent enough to realize she's jeopardizing her career by sleeping with him. There's no way a woman in the 21st century is this dumb. It's painful to watch. She sells herself short, and it's all just to receive his attention. Case in point, she's waiting for him in a restaurant, she gets up from the table and is about to leave because it's way past the time that he said he was going to arrive, then he walks in, so she sits back down. After some chit chatting they discover they don't know much about each other. In the next scene, they're attempting to have sex in a car! And that was probably the most unrealistic thing I've seen in a TV show in a while. I looked up their ages: a 38-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man having sex in a car? Are you serious? That is so high school. And why have sex after he didn't show up on time for dinner? Yeah, he apologized for being late, but at the same time it's like come on girl, stop making yourself so available!
I'll be amazed if this doesn't get canceled after the second season. It seems like there's no where else for

I know I'm in a minority here. There are an awful lot of Milo Ventimiglia fans out there that will watch anything with him and praise it. I'm not one of them. I felt This Is Us dragged and stopped watching after a couple of seasons. I don't see any reason for this one to last past one.
The show is listed as an action drama on IMDB. Yet the action borders on the absurd. The romantic part is absolutely ludicrous. We are expected to believe that a trained CIA agent is too stupid to recognize a con man when she sees one. Or does she just not care? Who knows? I don't because I only lasted through two episodes of caper, fall into bed, repeat.
At least the other show I was looking forward to, True Lies, doesn't pretend to be a realistic drama.

Love it! Check it out for yourself!
Milo Ventimiglia and Catherine Haena Kim rock the screen in this series. The family of criminals trying to get out to pay one more debt and a law enforcement agent coming together at the exact same locations with 2 completely different reasons but they are still taking down the same people. It's just a dream to watch. I really enjoy this show. Reminds me of the show The Catch with Miriam Enos. In The Catch it was burglars and private detectives coming together to make on screen lava hot scenes with passion and purpose . If you like the dynamics of good guys and bad guys coming together and falling in love, you will absolutely adore this show!
Also, the show brings in the storyline of a second language that many productions do not have. It incorporates deaf actors which I think is ingenious and extremely enticing.
Good luck to The Company You Keep! I'm a fan and routing for all of you.

I've watched a couple of episodes now and just trying to hang in there. I watched initially because I'm a fan of Milo Ventimiglia and of William Fichtner. I do think the writing is good and enjoy the heists carried out by the family of crime. Maybe if more planning went into the lead couple, Charlie and Emma. So far, they just seem to have started with a forced humorous meeting but somehow ended up in bed for the weekend or whatever. Just no romance, tension or build-up. Purely an emotionless physical attraction and I don't feel the chemistry there. I'll give it a little longer and hope for the best.

I have been looking forward to this show for quite some time, mostly because I'm a fan of both lead actors.
But after watching the promos I was seriously afraid it would be too cliche, a criminal and a law enforcement officer falling in love but after the first episode I don't feel like it was too much cliche.
It's a bit different and I'm looking forward to see future episodes.
With The Blacklist entering its last season now hopefully this can develop into a good replacement for me, I certainly have higher hopes for it than I had lets say two weeks ago after having just seen promos about it.
