Sex, joy and modern science converge in this eye opening series that celebrates the complex world of women's pleasure and puts old fashioned myths to rest.
Watchseries; Out of PURE boredom I watched this on Netflix. I figured it would be a heavily left leaning thing about woman. Instead it seems to be about women who didn't really know anything about any subjects before. Apparently they process for selecting people to interview was "Can't say I am a woman" and "Was raised in a dungeon and no nothing of pleasure". And there must have been a requirement for "Men bad!" stuff.
Going by what the world talks about, I'm sure preteen girls know more about their bodies then there "mature woman" do. This show is supposed to be some empowered women sort of thing, but makes it self look like its mocking itself accidently.
I also don't get the fascination with sex. Young people do practically eat, breath and live for sex. Like its the only thing that brings joy. There is no doubt sex is enjoyable, but at some point you realize its just not as important as you age.
If you are a far left kinda person, watch this so you can hate on it. If your far right, watch it as it makes fun of itself on accident. And if you are here to learn anything, well I'm going to assume you are likely an adult or maybe even a teen, you probably know more then these woman do already.

The Principles of Pleasure watchseries. This documentary is a waste of time! It was either scripted to make the women look ignorant, or they just found the most ignorant women on the planet! Every woman I've ever dated or hooked up with in my teens knew more than these grown women.
The documentary acts as if all men are horrible and misogynistic! Basically, the reason women aren't educated enough about sex is because of the "bad white man"!
They try to bash men and blame them for every thing, but in reality, they make the women who they're interviewing look terrible. Don't waste your time with this "documentary".

Maybe if this generation of people actually experienced life (instead of living life through technology) they wouldn't need a fifth grade sex Ed show to tell them what to do and think.
It's sad really.
Also, sorry for all the parents out there who had their children watch how to have an orgasm. I'd cancel the subscription if I was you.
(Ohhh it's so progressive though, right?!)

I have just watched E1 of this mini series. If this is how it continues, I can hardly wait to see E2 and E3. Even if they don't turn out to be as good (although I think E2 will be because, the mind is the biggest sexual organ), watching E1 again is definitely worth it.
As a 60+ wsm (white straight male) I broke the episode into 3 parts, what I already knew, what I suspected, and what I didn't know at all. The last part was an eye opener, and the saddest part was, the mapping of the clitoris NOT being done until 2005.
What a shock, and what a disgrace, not on the part of the woman that did but, on the many who didn't, both female AND male.
As to the idea of orgasm being a means to overcome insomnia, is definitely something to think about (the "story" of men turning over and instantly falling asleep, should've been a clue).
There is so much more I could say but, I won't, it would spoil for those who will watch, enjoy, and learn. The "negative" comments I won't look at, to do so would mean these "people" exist. It's people like them that has given rise to a brilliant series like this, that sadly, shouldn't have had to be made in the first place.
I will definitely watch the rest, and most definitely watch the first episode again. There was so much information to try and take in, I need to hear it again to try and digest. Cudos to all the women involved, it is a master learning tool. Well done.

From the opening moments of this truly awful show, dressed up as some kind of progressive explanation of something that seems to be portrayed as suddenly opening eyes to things that have already been discussed for decades, the false nature becomes oh so apparent.
It acts to tell women how they have essentially had their minds suppressed and only by the viewing of this show will their minds be released.
Breaking news though, 'Girl Power' has been a thing for decades now and the advent of the internet opened up all manner of avenues for explanation of sexual identity and the information required to achieve the best of pleasures.
There is massive bias, plainly evident from the writers/creators, who are riding on a false wave, that, to be fair, is all too often successful in terms of avoiding reality in favour of promoting only a narrowed and blinkered view of life, the ultimate goal being to attain power, not any real form of equality.
Ironically though, the end result is about a small group of women seeking to control the minds of most others, not freeing them.
Faux feminists will love this.
Real feminists will slam it's lack of integrity.
And yet, it could have worked so well if it had simply given information with no sub text and herein lies the great sadness.

Most of these horrible reviews are coming from guys who cannot watch a female centric show without pulling their hair out. Ignore the negative reviews and see this for yourself.
