Follow up series to 'Vikings' set 100 years afterward and centering on the adventures of Leif Erikson, Freydis, Harald Hardrada and the Norman King William the Conqueror.
Watchseries; From the low rating I was expecting something subpar but this easily exceeded all expectations. The main trio are all great as is most of the cast. Action, speeches and dramatic tension aplenty as the show comes on with a roaring start. Yes the black Queen was a bit unsettling but a minor quibble and hopefully her bizarre presence there will be explained. But really for some whiny reviewers to give this a 1 solely on that is ludicrous. The mentioning of several key characters from the prior show was also great. A definite must see for proper Viking fans.

Vikings: Valhalla watchseries. I was really looking forward to this being such a big fan of the original Vikings. I should've guessed by all the mixed reviews that I was going to be a little disappointed and I was. I was really hoping for better here. Hopefully next season will be better!

Every bit as good has the first seasons of 'Vikings'
If you compare this first season to the original as a whole, no doubt you will rate it lower but I just rewatched the original and this is starting out just as good. Great actors, great sets and great plot. How can you not like it. I'll guarantee you that everybody who loved the first will watch all the seasons of this sequel. You can't help but too. A definite must watch.

After watching Vikings and The Last Kingdom which were both outstanding shows it made me a lot more critical of shows of the same ilk!
This latest offering is not of the same quality the cast main characters are not as strong and the writing not as good add on to this the lack of historical accuracy has delivered an average show but watchable I did notice that as far as filming it appears to have used the same settings as was used in Vikings which was stunning but only emphasised the lack of quality of cast and writing!

Because of cooler characters;'= - Ivar thr Bonless, Loki,, Ragnar, and so on and the story was better but scenery was equal to first series. Enjoyed watching both but #1 held my attention all the way through and in this one I kind of lost interest. Battle scenes were too repetitive.

It's not Game of Thrones by any stretch of their minds . This is a difficult to stomach thinly disguised politically charged woke and anti-religious drama. Fine for younger viewers but not entertaining for mature adults. Tons of stupid fights, low on storytelling.
