Perry is paid a visit by a Dorrie Ambler who wants him to verify her identity. Shady private eye Phil Arthur has been paying her to frequent certain places around town and Dorrie thinks it's because she bears a strong resemblance to madcap heiress Minerva Minden. After some digging, Perry finds out that Minerva might have been involved in a hit-and-run accident and it appears as though Dorrie
